Sometimes I need only to stand wherever I am to be blessed

Mary Oliver - It was Early

After a first degree in Ecology, I found faith and a husband, trained as a teacher, and had four children who are now fledging.

I am a struggling, complex, messy human and my life is far from perfect. My least favourite prayer is this one by Pierre de Teilhard de Chardin.

Chelan Harkin -Try Human

As our children took public exams, I returned to study and did an MA in Christianity and the Arts run jointly by Kings College, London and The National Gallery. I’m now studying stained glass for my (part time) PhD with the University of York History of Art department.
